In recent years doctors have been recommending more and more the cool mist humidifiers rather than the warm mist. The main reason for this is that the cool mist do not use a heater to warm the water and the steam, which may have the potential of hurting a child.

We have the Crane Duck humidifier in our nursery. It makes such a cute statement and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It can sit safely on the dresser out of the little ones reach. Our older humidifier was too big to put on the dresser and we had to set it on the floor. We are so glad to have this with the upcoming colder months ahead and with the colds & flu that will be going around.
